Adding E-mail Aliases


Please note that E-mail aliases option are only available to Web Hosting customers with a registered domain name only.

Things to consider:

  • You MAY add unlimited number of alias(es).
  • You MAY NOT add the same alias twice.
  • You MAY NOT use ROOT and POSTMASTER as alias since these aliases are reserved for administrative purpose.
  • Alias MUST BE 3-15 characters in length and may not contain any space.
  • You MAY use any letter and number combination for alias.
  • You MAY use the following symbols for your alias:  _ (underscore); - (dash or hyphen); . (period or dot).
Procedure:
  • Logon to Account Control Panel.
  • Click on E-mail Settings from main menu.
  • Click on Add Mail Alias(es).
  • Enter your alias id and click on PROCEED.
  • Select a mailbox that you wish to assign this alias to. You may also resolve this alias to an external E-mail address. Please enter the complete E-mail address in this case.
  • Your alias is configured.
