Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express Start Outlook Express. Click on TOOLS menu and select ACCOUNT... Click on the MAIL tab. Click on ADD button and select MAIL. Type in your name and click on NEXT. Enter your E-mail address (i.e. jsmith@gdex.net). Select POP3 for My Incoming Mail Server. Enter pop.gdex.net for incoming mail POP3 server. Enter smtp.gdex.net for outgoing mail (SMTP) server. Click on NEXT. Select Log on Using. Enter your E-mail User ID. Each E-mail address has a unique user ID assigned to that mailbox. Please call technical support if you don't know your user ID. Enter your password and click on NEXT. Enter pop.gdex.net for Internet mail account name and click on NEXT. Select I will establish my Internet connection manually. Click on NEXT. Click on Finish. Click on CLOSE. To check your mail click on the SEND AND RECEIVE button.
